Finishing Fifty Celebrates All 50 States

When I crossed the starting line of my first half marathon, I never imagined that 16 years later my journey would have taken me to all 50 states. What began as a personal challenge became an incredible adventure—one that allowed me to experience the beauty, history, and unique character of every corner of our country. Each state has its own story to tell, its own traditions to celebrate, and its own people who make it special. Traveling across America gave me a deeper appreciation for the richness and diversity that define our nation. My hope is that Finishing Fifty will inspire you to explore more of this remarkable country for yourself. Whether your journey takes you across state lines or simply to a place you've never been before, there is always something new to discover. As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation, I find myself especially grateful for the opportunities this country has given me. I celebrate all that we have accomplished together over the past 250 years, and I hope we will continue to work together as one nation to build an even brighter future for generations to come.
